Team Manager Info

Overview

The Team Manager is an integral part of the team and serves as the key communicator to parents/guardians and provides organizational support for coaches on your team. This role is also the liaison between the coaching staff, parents/guardians, FYLA Board and other partners throughout the season. 

The core responsibilities are:

  1. Assist the team coaches with administrative and communication duties throughout the lacrosse season.
  2. Scorekeeping duty and managing all scorekeeping supplies for home, regular season-games. We encourage Team Managers to develop a schedule and delegate this responsibility to other parents on the team.
  3. Maintaining team webpage, adding jersey numbers, coaching contacts (Boys only: syncing calendars with the YLM site and watching for schedule changes)
  4. Team communications
  5. Boys only: Work with YLM on game rescheduling & score reporting
  6. Planning team events, scheduling score table volunteers,  etc
