Leadership
The Farmington Youth Lacrosse Association is dedicated to fostering a love for lacrosse while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development among young players. Our board members play a vital role in this mission by generously contributing their time and expertise to support the growth of our program. From organizing events to managing operations, their commitment helps create a positive, enriching experience for all players and families involved.
Board Member Guiding Statement
Lead with Purpose. Serve the Program. Grow the Game.
As a board member of Farmington Youth Lacrosse Association, I commit to serving in the best interest of the program and every athlete within it.
I will continually work to better the program, recognizing that even if my own child is not participating in a particular activity, I will invest just as much effort and attention if it benefits the program as a whole. My decisions will always be guided by what strengthens the association, not by personal interests or individual agendas.
I will approach each discussion with a clear mind and steady judgment, leaving personal bias and emotion at the door. I will make sound, balanced decisions that are rooted in what is best for the program as a whole, focused on long-term success rather than short-term wins.
I will lead with a spirit of fairness, transparency, and teamwork. I recognize that my role is not only to manage today’s needs but to lay a strong foundation for the future of Farmington lacrosse.
Together, we strive to build a positive culture, foster a love for the game, and ensure that every player has the opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive—on and off the field.
This is why we serve.
